Blocked on your university wifi.
Your university's wifi is blocking our web address. It is not a problem with your account, and Obiter is not down. Some campus filters block any site they have not categorised yet, and ours is one of them.
What works right now
This works every time. Mobile networks do not run your university's filter, so obiter.site loads normally on 4G or 5G. A personal hotspot from your phone works for a laptop too.
Get it fixed properly
The block lifts when your university's IT service desk allows the domain. That usually takes one ticket. The text below explains the problem in the terms they need, so you can copy it, paste it into an email or the IT portal, and send it as it is.
Subject: Web filter blocking obiter.site obiter.site is blocked by the web filter on the campus wifi. The domain resolves and port 80 answers, but the TLS connection to obiter.site, www.obiter.site and app.obiter.site hangs and never completes, while other sites on the same hosting IP load normally. It works on mobile data. Cisco Talos shows the domain as uncategorised with no block list entries, so it looks like an uncategorised-domain rule rather than a content block. It is a study and revision platform for UK law students. Please could you allow obiter.site and its subdomains.
If a few people on the same campus each send it, it tends to get picked up faster.
