Right of Access
Request a complete copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will provide this within 30 days.
Right to Rectification
Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold. You can update most information directly in your account Settings.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days (backups within 90 days).
Right to Data Portability
Receive your data in a machine-readable format (CSV/JSON). Export your essays, flashcards, notes, and activity data.
Right to Object & Restrict
Object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request that we restrict how we use your data while we investigate a concern.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
How to Make a Request
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@obiter.site with the subject line “GDPR Request”. Include your full name and the email associated with your account so we can verify your identity.
We will respond within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this by up to 60 additional days, and will notify you of the extension.
Exercising your rights is free of charge. We may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
